BOL OS Browser — Privacy Policy

What the extension does
BOL OS Browser lets AI agents in your BOL OS workspace browse websites in a dedicated window of your own Chrome. It acts only on commands queued by agents you are chatting with in BOL OS, and only while you have connected it with a token generated from your BOL OS account.
Data the extension handles
- For each agent step, the extension sends BOL OS the current page URL, title, a list of interactive elements, the visible page text (truncated), a screenshot of the agent window, and the URLs of network requests the page made. This is what lets the agent see what it did.
- Nothing is collected from tabs or windows other than the agent's own window, and nothing is sent when no command is running.
- The extension never reads or transmits your passwords, cookies, form autofill, or browsing history. Signing in to a site happens in your browser, by you.
- The pairing token is stored in Chrome's extension storage on your device and is sent only to the BOL OS URL you entered.
Where the data goes
Step results are sent only to your organisation's BOL OS deployment and stored there as part of the agent conversation, subject to that workspace's access controls. No data is sent to third parties by the extension itself.
Permissions
scripting and host access are needed to open pages and read/click elements in the agent window; webRequest records request URLs for that window; storage and alarms keep the pairing and the polling loop alive.
Your controls
Click Disconnect in the extension to stop it at any time, close the agent window, or revoke the token in BOL OS → Settings → Profile. Uninstalling the extension removes the stored token.
